This settlement was over Marina Stajic PhD being wrongfully terminated by the NY Medical Examiners Office. It stemmed from her revealing decades of lies in that office about their LCDNA non existent proofs and testing. She is by no means just a tech. She is one of the few female past presidents of the American Academy of Forensic Sciences. That didnt save her from personal attacks from her managers, cops and OCME PR people. Classic forensic fraud scandal.
