My visit during Howards’ last hearing in Columbus MS along with the MS and NY innocence legal teams was proof how committed they are to justice. That was 3 years ago. Howards’ original appellate attorney (from the late 90’s) attended. That is Vanzetta Williams. She and her investigator worked Howards’ case solo under very dangerous circumstances. Both are heroes.
