Forensics: Senator Wiener Introduces Legislation to End Wrongful Convictions Resulting from Faulty Expert Witness Testimony

This new bill strengthens the previous “junk science” bill which was instrumental in the 2016 exoneration of Bill Richards. https://californiainnocenceproject.org/read-their-stories/william-richards/ Bill was convicted in 1997 based on the bitemark testimony of ABFO ex-president Skip Sperber.
