New DA expects “true innocence” based on evidence “like DNA.” Despite Chicago’s horrific record of corrupt cops. Also DNA is available in only a fraction of exonerations. Ridiculous statement which hides her own biased version of justice.

Exonerated people seek certificates of innocence in part for jobs and housing. State’s Attorney Eileen O’Neill Burke is opposing their petitions.
