   Actually, it’s incorrect to refer to white missing woman syndrome. As a parody article about Greta Van Susteren noted years ago, the media only gets excited about missing young pretty white women.

   But bravo to Joe Petito to looking beyond his own pain and acknowledging the many others who are undergoing the same pain, but who don’t receive all the attention.
