Forensics: Study finds field of forensic anthropology (and forensics) lacks diversity

Anthro and forensic science lacking racial, ethnic and cultural diversity. This has much to do with STEAM failing to successfully attract, support and recruit POC and diverse cultural kids in our populations. Its all about where the money is. Careers in anthro are underfunded. Forensics not much better. School is $$$$. Tech jobs rule.

The field of forensic anthropology is a relatively homogenous discipline in terms of diversity (people of color, LGBTQ+ individuals, people with mental and physical disabilities, etc.) and this is highly problematic for the field of study and for most forensic anthropologists.
